Total War Clan Center is an online community, composed of a forum, a steam, a YouTube, a homepage/blog and a wiki. As the name indicates, we are focused on the multiplayer aspect of Total War. The forum is the beating heart of the community, there, you will meet new clans, players, and YouTube casters, some of whom have played TW for over a decade! However, if you are not a forum person, you have the option to receive quick info by viewing our homepage, or get lost on our Wiki reading about TW History, and viewing clan and player profiles. If you are not into reading at all, and prefer commentaries, visit our YouTube, and enjoy commentaries and cinematic battles. Though TWCC is mainly an English based community, if you do not speak English, you can still join our steam community for updates on tournaments. Moreover, our forum features foreign language forums, for languages that are popular within the community. Below, you will find a breakdown of what TWCC has to offer, though if you are already convinced, register now on our forums, and dive right into the TW Multiplayer Community!
The Total War Clan Center forum is a growing community of Total War enthusiasts. The forum focuses on Multiplayer, featuring regularly hosted Tournaments and really anything that has to do with TW clans. At the TWCC, you can find the latest news concerning TW Multiplayer, you can search, advertise and even start clans, and of course various other possibilities, which you can read about below. As a final note of introduction, please understand that the TWCC is a Community, a forum where you can come to relax, but also settle disputes – it is hopefully not only a place you’ll visit to participate in tournaments, but a place you can hang-out and talk with friends on gloomy, rainy nights. Finally, it is our intent for You to develop the TWCC, to suit Your needs.
Tournaments
One of the most important features of TWCC is the regularly hosted tournaments/flash tournaments. So far we hosted one large 1v1 tournament, of 128 participants, and numerous flash tournaments, and are in the process of hosting a RTW and a STW 2 team tournament. Additionally to tournaments hosted by the TWCC staff, anyone is welcomed to advertise or host their own tournament on our forum – or if not host, but provide regular updates, videos of their tournament. Therefore, if you wish to test your skills in a tournament, visit the TWCC, and check out what we have to offer!
Replay Vault
A new feature of our forum, the Replay Vault will serve to, as the name indicates, maintain a large database of Total War replays. Everyone is welcomed to upload their replays. Make sure you give a descriptive title, and a description of your replay. Remember, once you have uploaded a replay, everyone is allowed to download it, so make sure you don’t upload replays you do not wish to share with the public! There are six categories: RTW/BI, MTW2, ETW, NTW, STW2, FoTS – make sure you upload your file into the correct category! We hope you will enjoy, and use the Replay Vault to its fullest potential!
Clan Council
Our aim when creating the TWCC was to provide a platform for clans, clan members to mingle, banter, and discuss TW and non-TW related stuff. We understand that not everyone is enthusiastic about forums, or simply lacks the language skills participate in discussions. We wish to counter this, by establishing a Clan Council, to which each clan who has registered at least 4 members on the forum, and opened a topic in the clan contact forum, can send a representative. This representative can then act as a bridge between TWCC and the Clan, by sharing information about tournaments, and other multiplayer related topics to their clan, and desires, concerns, of their clan to the TWCC staff & other representatives.
Chit Chat & Unregulated
As previously mentioned, TWCC is not only a place to discuss TW, but a place to have fun. It is our belief that the TW Multiplayer Community is a rich and interesting group, capable of intellectual discussions, but also of quick wit and humor. IN light of this, our forum has a rather large off topic section, where you can share your thoughts about anything, ranging from Politics to Arts. In addition to a regulated off-topic area, we have unregulated boards. Unregulated Boards are forums where special rules apply. Since everyone needs a little space to vent, we hoped by creating the unregulated boards that offensive material would not spill into regulated areas but remain in unregulated, which people enter at their own risk.
Various Cul-de-sacs: Various Cul-de-sacs
Main unregulated forum: Battlefield of Drama
Clan Promotion
As mentioned above, each clan is welcome to share their clan information on the TWCC, and even recruit newbies. Simply open a topic in any Clans & Contacts forum, and fill it with whatever information you wish. Clans who have registered 4 members on the TWCC, and posted their Clan Info topic, are allowed to have their steam page/homepage links displayed either on the TWCC Forum, or on the Homepage. Of course not only can clans advertise on the TWCC, but if you have any tournament running, or a YT channel, you are welcome to post any content on the TWCC, as long as it is in the right section!
The TWCC Wiki is a new addition to our growing community, and as such, still in its baby steps. However, as our site grows, so will the Wiki. Each week, or sometimes even randomly, we will have Clan Spotlights, featuring a clan and providing all sorts of interesting data about them. This content will then be moved to the Wiki, and with time, the Wiki will grow and serve as an important Vault of TW Multiplayer History. Of course, not only clans will be featured on the Wiki, but players, community figures, tournaments, tales of great battles, wars, rivalries and much much more!
The TWCC Homepage is another new feature, but more up to date and content rich compared to the Wiki. On the Homepage, you will find the latest TW News, mainly Multiplayer related, but the content is not restricted – even important RL events could be featured on our site. The most important news items will be placed on sliders, with large images. By hovering over the slides, you can click and open info panels, or follow a link. Below the slides are 4 important links: RTW2 forums, Steam, YouTube, wiki. At the bottom, the latest blog posts will be displayed. Blog posts are relatively short excerpts of a larger article, which you can find on the forum.
Our steam page is a large group, with soon over 1000 members. As with any other Steam group, important announcements and events will be shared. With the lack of an in-game chat lobby, the TWCC Steam Group chat can serve as an alternative. We highly reccommend all TW gamers, regardless whether you speak English or not, to join our Steam group, since Tournament updates and other News will also be posted here too. As an additional feature, if you possess a steam account, you can register on our forum, by click on the “Connect through STEAM” button, or link your profile to Steam, if you already gave a forum icon.
Another new and still undeveloped feature of TWCC is our YouTube page. Our plan for the future is to upload commentaries regularly. IF you wish to help out vid the YouTube page, contact Gwyndane through steam or email ( gwyndane@gmail.com ) , and tell him how you can help. What we hope with the YT Page, is to create a sort of Wiki like Vault, of Great TW battles, from RTW to STW2, in addition to commentaries of the latest TW installments.
Thank you for reading this post, we hope we sparked your interest a bit, and you & your clan are considering registering on the TWCC forum, subscribing to our channel, contributing to our Wiki, or joining our Steam Group. Should you have any questions, feel free to post here, on out forum, or once again, contact Gwyndane (gwyndane@gmail.com ).
