Anyone know the required specs for rtw2, just im buying a new comp and i want to come back to total war for rtw2

There is nothing official yet . But they said that they will try to keep the same required specs that were for Shogun 2 . So , if I were you , I'd get a PC with a little better specs than the recommended ones for Shogun 2 , and you should be good. And , don't buy pre-assembled PCs , assemble it yourself piece by piece . Cheaper & better .

Hey adam sup man , long time no see .

like hakko said they wanted to try to give it the same specs ( prob like normal settings) but it would be higher as they wanted to max out the game because of the new generation pc's . My guess is if you are able to play shogun 2 on high settings your save.

normally building your own pc your indeed better of . Only if you want the latest windows 8 your better of buying a pc with the latest motherboard/processor in it . strip it and sell the stuff on ebay keep the good things afcours . Than find out what the best parts are to replace them and build it out with the latest graffic cards etc..

tbh i used the test version of windows 8 and it didn't look promising for me but like i said it was a test version . Still it will be very expensive to buy apart . the good things about buying a pre assembled pc these days is also you have a sort of injurance that could help you out in the future when somthing would be wrong and prob a good virus scanner,firewall etc all included. Or maybe i'm just lucky with the store where i am going ?

Well for me it worked out pretty good that way , sure now i have a old fox as this was a year ago when i did this . Best thing to do is to see what your store has to offer and compare that with online stores . assembled pc's these days have pretty good specs already most of the time and allot of extra software where you also need to pay allot for to buy /unless you use torrents . in that case i just shut up
